All of my activities are created on an Acer Chromebook in a series of Posts on a Google Blog. I find some free coding to create a new type of activity and then find some suitable content. Any content can be adapted to any activity. All I need is feedback and requests.

The original activity can be found at https://learnanytime-mycreations.blogspot.com/2023/11/matching-descriptions-to-pictures_64.html A picture catalogue of all of my resources can be found at https://learnanytime-practising.blogspot.com/ A simple activity in which learners match the action verb to a picture showing that action. All of my activities are created on an Acer Chromebook in a series of Posts on a Google Blog. They are created as TEMPLATES for online interactive resources. So, if you have a blog, or want to create one to try this concept out, simply copy and paste the text in the downloaded text file as a NEW POST and PUBLISH. If the concept works PLEASE let me know and I will add other TEMPLATES I have created. The activities are meant to be fun, flexible and differentiated. They are meant to develop transferable skills and be cross curricular. As a result they hopefully reinforce small chunks of information and give a better understanding of a topic. I created a set of screenshots from a series of video clips which included a picture, the name and the meaning of a series of homophones. With the second set I removed the title and with the third set I removed the meaning of the words. Leaving me with 3 sets of pictures [a], [b] and [c] providing an opportunity to create the same activity for 3 different levels of difficulty. I can create a download of all of the pictures used in this series of activities if required, just let me know. The activities are meant to be fun, flexible and differentiated. addition [calculator maths quiz] [action verbs] [1b]

(0)
I have combined two sets of coding here to create an activity which links maths and English. Clicking on a series of “action verbs” creates a sum which learners can work out on a calculator. In version [1b] the same set of “action verbs” creates a sum which learners can work out but without the use of the “=” button. If you download the coding you can very simply change the numbers used and or the pictures to suit any topic. All of my activities are created on an Acer Chromebook in a series of Posts on a Google Blog. So, if you have a blog, or want to create one to try this concept out, simply copy and paste the text in the downloaded text file as a NEW POST and PUBLISH. They are created as TEMPLATES for you to adapt and add your own content. The screenshots can be downloaded simply as worksheets. The original activity can be found at https://learnanytime-mycreations.blogspot.com/2023/11/homonyms-matching-pictures-4.html A picture catalogue of all my resources can be found at : https://learnanytime-practising.blogspot.com A simple activity of matching pictures which suggest homonyms. 20 pictures, 7 pairs and 6 remaining. The use of the recycle bin allows learners to see all of the pictures, disregard some but the facility to change their mind and “recycle” some if they need to. This simple coding allows a picture to be dropped into a frame which makes up a row, the rest of the row being a series of words which make up a sentence, the picture representing the homophone. The coding allows this TEMPLATE to be used for any sentences to include a picture whether it be an English, science, history, geography topic or project.
